Introduction to Media

1) Which part of Media are you looking forward to the most?


The part of media I am looking forward to the most is to get better at it and understand the content of media studies and knowledge of the work and how it will work as


2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?


The knowledge and skills I hope to learn in Media is to understand and know how the media and the video works to edit or use the background sounds to animate.


3) What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media?


The grades I am realistically hoping to achieve is a 6 or a 7 


4) What device do you use most to access the media? (The media = news, TV, music, film, social media etc.) 


The device I do use to access the media is music to listen to my favourite music creator and watch a scientist film or any film it interests me.


5) What is your average 'screen time' (or equivalent) on your phone each day. Is this about right, too little or too much? Why? 


My average ‘screen time’ on my phone each day maybe too much as i use to chat with my friends or go through social media to see and sometimes play video games if i am bored


6) What was the last TV programme or film you watched?


The last film i watched is Wednesday Adams from the Netflix series


7) What device or subscription do you use to listen to music?


The device I used to listen to music is my phone and the subscription i use is Youtube and Spotify


8) Do you play videogames? If so, what do you play games on and what is your favourite game?


I play games on roblox amd my favourite game is ‘Pressure,Doors,Creature of Soneria and Dress to Impress’


9) Are you on social media? If so, what social media do you have and why do you like it? 


I have tik tok and x but I never use that much as I always use youtube to watch shorts or videos because it shows everything you may like or looking for.


10) Finally, do you think the media is a positive or negative thing for young people? Why?



I think the media is a negative thing for young people because it has stuff that you feel insecure about and feel uncomfortable with but I think it depends on what young people are using media as some can be positive and negative.
